WHO WE ARE

Formed in August 2021 by Major League Fishing Professional Tournament Angler, Dave Lefebre, The Band 814 is made up of worship leaders from many different Erie area churches who share the goal of spreading the message of Jesus to change and save lives.

“Fishing has been a passion of mine and my full time career for over 20 years. I grew up playing drums in church and various bands, but never really fulfilled the calling that God placed in me at a very young age. Fishing for bass is great, but fishing for men is really what this life is all about to me. The way that this group came together and the doors that have opened so far have really blown my mind. We don’t take our mission lightly. We are open vessels, ready to go wherever God leads us!” ~Dave

None of us are preachers. We speak through the songs we write. Most of our songs come straight from Bible verses that relate to our own lives in some way, and we hope they minister to & encourage you!

Our most recent concert series and first album, titled Break Every Chain, is focused on breaking down the religious and denominational barriers in our community. Our main focus is on the younger generation.

We believe that music is power and can bring people together—break chains and tear down the religious and denominational barriers that clearly exist in today’s culture. That’s why we do this.
